Project Challenge
Objective
I was tasked to transfer Wills existing website from WordPress to Shopify. Will had been experiencing difficulties carrying out simple updates on his website. Woo-commerce offers very little functionality. For this reason, instead of continuing with WordPress, I conducted research and came across Shopify. I recommended the platform to Will as this platform specialize in online shops, has better e- commerce integration, and is more user friendly.

Design Approach
Objective
Design process was very straight forward. Myself and Will agreed on a theme. I used the shopify store migration app to transfer the stores content and data to Shopify. I transferred Wills existing domain. Will requested a gallery page which was not built into the theme. I used the Shogun Page builder app to design the page.

The Solution
Objective
Will was very happy with the solution. I completed the project by transferring the existing site onto Shopify. This allowed me to easily create a new gallery page, look book page and an About place as requested. due to its ease-of-use Will is now able to carry out the amendments himself saving the additional costs of hiring someone to make these changes.
